Pirate Pete Collector
User Guide (2.0.9)
Your cards. Your treasure.
Organize your collectible card games, explore visual binders, build decks and plan your next trade. Pirate Pete Collector brings classic and out-of-print CCG collections together in one place.
iPhone, iPad & Mac · Android · Windows
Version 2.0.9 improves deck building, printing choices and GEMP imports. Read the updated guide or watch the walkthroughs.
Make it your collection
Keep three separately named collections. Track quantities and conditions, mark Trade and Wanted cards, and follow your progress toward completing each set. Browse a visual binder with missing-card pockets and choose an appearance that suits your collection.
Explore cards and build better decks
Open card details for artwork, rules, lore and linked-card interactions where supported. Build decks with exact printings, track wins and losses, and see what you own, what is missing and the estimated cost to finish. Tap any deck card name to inspect it, including cards with a selected printing.
Bring your GEMP decks with you
Import LOTR GEMP shared-deck URLs, or bring in SWCCG exported files and pasted export text. Review printings and virtual-card bases, then use supported GEMP export to share your deck back. SWCCG and LOTR virtual cards stay separate from collectible inventory; where a physical base is required, ownership and cost use your chosen physical printing.
Star Trek virtual cards, by edition
Browse separate Star Trek First Edition and Second Edition virtual-card lists in Deck Builder, with artwork, rules and details. Add them to decks without adding physical collection inventory or value.
Find trades and run events
Share Trade and Wanted lists from selected collections, review matches and manage offers. Organize events with entrants, pairings, round timers, results and standings, plus optional account saves and public views.
Scan, review and record
The beta scanner suggests matches from a photo. Confirm the printing, condition and quantity before adding it. Keep graded cards in Graded Library with certification details, photos and notes.
Understand your collection value
Review PP Market estimates and eligible PP Buy values, compare available eBay listings, and save collection-value snapshots. Check the printing, condition and result date; prices are estimates and coverage varies.
Keep your records close
Collect as a guest or create an account. Account sync covers collection names and Owned quantities, including conditions. Optional automatic uploads save changes while the app is open; Sync now checks for changes from other devices. Signing in alone never replaces your local collection.
Back up, import and restore
Keep portable backups for broader records, including Trade, Wants, graded records, managed photos and value history. Include app settings and shared records to back up the deck library, or use its dedicated deck backup. Import supported CSV and Excel spreadsheets, review matches and restore choices, and export collection lists and decklists.
Set sail in Pirates!
Explore, find treasure, upgrade your ship, visit the merchant and store finds in the Bank. The saved voyage and Bank stay on that device, separate from your real collection, account sync and collection backups.
Core collection tracking and the bundled catalog work offline. Online features require internet. Details and image coverage vary by game and printing. Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh are not included in the active catalog.
